This year's event was held on Sundaaay July 31st
under clear blue skies. Each year seems to bring in
more old friends as well as new faces
For 12 years, New England Dragway's track has hosted
the New England Hot Rod Hall of Fame Nationals
presented by the Orientals Hot Rod Club.
This was a banner year for the show car crowd
with well over 125 entries in attendance.
This year's Hot Rod Nationals also featured two new race classes -
"Outlaw", featuring dragsters, altereds and
funny cars running heads up on a 6.20 index
and a 7.50 index class as well.
With a full day of racing, a car show and the
Hall of Fame ceremonies, there's ALWAYS something for everyone...
