Dan Page started working in repair shops in Beverly, Mass in the 1980s, and soon showed his strong work ethic and ability to solve problems, weld, and fabricate. In 1992 Dan began working with Hall of Fame member and chassis fabricator Marc Rowe. While working with Marc Dan had the opportunity to learn and grow as a chassis builder, machinist, and fabricator. In 1995 Rowe began to focus his business on motorcycles, so Dan decided to take what he had learned and branch out on his own. With a frame jig from Marc, a lot of initiative, and a little money, actually very little money, Dan started Dan Page Race Cars in Beverly.

His first car debuted in 1996 with fellow Hall of Famer Val DiGenova’ behind the wheel. The obvious quality of the builds and Dan’s expertise in CAD design soon allowed Dan to build several successful cars that earned him national attention as a premier chassis builder. Dan’s cars have received numerous NHRA Best Engineered awards, and the long list of Dan Page Race Car clients includes NHRA Divisional and National Champions.

Dan is also a driver, and currently handles the driving duties in Art Gallant’s A/Fuel Dragster. In 2010 Art Gallant approached Dan about driving his dragster after watching Dan drive locally in the New England Pro Comp series. The partnership has proven to be a success, earning the team an NHRA Regional 1 Championship in 2013. In 2016 Dan won the prestigious NHRA U.S. Nationals in Indiana. Along with these accomplishments have come many other victories on both a regional and national level.

Dan has also become known for his tuning abilities and is currently tuning Chuck Little’s NHRA Pro Mod on the NHRA National circuit.

Dan’s creativity, ability to collaborate with others, engineer and fabricate remarkable race cars, and be a winning driver have earned him a place in New England Motorsports history.

The Orientals Hot Rod Club is proud to induct Dan Page into the New England Hot Rod Hall of Fame.
